Field Trips & Outdoor Learning: A Classroom Without Walls
A Journey of Discovery Through Real-World Experiences
At Miraiku Global Kids, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Each month, children embark on carefully planned educational excursions that align with their current learning themes, transforming the world around them into an engaging and meaningful learning environment.
Our experiential learning programme may include:
Culture & the Arts – Enjoying orchestral performances, visiting art galleries, and experiencing traditional Vietnamese water puppet theatre to foster creativity and cultural appreciation.
Life Skills & Community Awareness – Exploring community services and professions through visits to fire stations, bakeries, dental clinics, bookstores, and other local establishments, helping children understand the roles people play in society. Nature & Environmental Exploration – Discovering the wonders of plants, animals, and ecosystems through visits to zoos, green farms, botanical gardens, and ecological parks, inspiring curiosity and environmental stewardship.
Holistic Development Through Authentic Experiences
These excursions are far more than recreational outings—they are carefully designed learning opportunities that enable children to connect classroom knowledge with the real world.
Through hands-on experiences, children are encouraged to:
Develop independence, adaptability, and essential life skills in new environments. Cultivate empathy, environmental awareness, and a deep appreciation for nature in line with our Mokuiku educational philosophy. Strengthen observation skills, creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity through meaningful real-world exploration.
By learning beyond the classroom, children gain confidence, broaden their perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them—making every excursion an inspiring extension of their educational journey.
